I'm sure just about everyone that has grown up in Marblehead
has a great memory of going to the movies
and for a lot of us our first movie was seen at the Warwick.
This old ticket for Warwick Theatre is believed to be from the time of its
"Grand Opening" pictured below, Christmas day 1948.
While the Warwick was built in 1917, this was taken just after the "New Marquee"
was rebuilt and theatre reopened.
The panel in the last image was on the door to the"lounge" room upstairs above the marquee,
adjacent to the projector room. I would like to know who originally painted it.....
