Advertising card circa 1915
From around 1900 thru the 1930s Marblehead resident Willard Jackson
photographed some of the fastest sailboats and most beautiful yachts
of his day. Thankfully for us a great deal of his work has been compiled into a book
printed in 2006.
Much of his work was given by his daughter Alison [for which his boat was named] to the
Peabody Essex Museum in Salem Mass. More info on Jackson can be found HERE.
