Weetamoe in the fore with Vanitie....
Weetamoe
Rear Commodore [center] of the N.Y.Y.C George Nichols skipper onboard Weetamoe.
Vanitie was built for Alexander Smith Cochran first competing in 1914 to defend the
America's Cup but lost to Resolute. She would be refitted and eventually
sail in the J-class after 1931 and then scrapped 1938.
Nichols would go on to sail Weetamoe for Frederick Prince, in 1930 and 1934 but was
unsuccessful in trials for the Cup.
